Please note that when we mention the Yin/Yang patch pair, we mean a pairing of two patches, whereby the one on the left is relatively yin compared to the patch on the right.
Examples of Yin/Yang phototherapy patching pairs are:
- Energy Enhancer: Tan patch is yin, White patch is yang
- IceWave: Tan patch is yin, White patch is yang
- SP6C patch: Worn on the left (yin), Aeon patch on the right (yang)
- X39 patch: Worn on the left (yin), X49 patch on the right (yang)
Yin/Yang meridians pair also refers to patching a Yin acupuncture point on the left side of the body and a Yang acupuncture point on the right side of the body that belongs to the same element. Examples of Yin/Yang element pairings:
- Earth: Spleen/Stomach
- Metal: Lung/Large Intestine
- Water: Kidney/Bladder
- Wood: Liver/Gallbladder
- Fire: Pericardium/Triple Burner (more emotional) or Heart/Small Intestine (more physical)
Topics Discussed
Discussing acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and patch usage @ 5:28
Dr. Karen Kan provides an overview of the event’s purpose, explaining that they will discuss traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture points, and how to use the LifeWave phototherapy patches to support wellness. She emphasizes that the patches are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent diseases or medical conditions.
Addressing a swollen leg issue @ 19:35
The group discusses a 65-year-old man with swollen legs, especially in hot weather. They recommend using patches like X39 and X49 to help move lymph and improve circulation, elevating the legs, tapping acupuncture points like Bladder 57, and using a “triangle” of patches around the knee.
Helping with a spider bite and surgery recovery @ 27:33
The group addresses a case of an adult male who had a spider bite that led to surgery on his buttocks, causing swelling in both legs and ankles. They suggest using the Energy Enhancer and IceWave patches to help the body naturally neutralize toxins, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation.
Recommendations for a post-prostate removal surgery issue @ 52:07
The group discusses the case of a 71-year-old male who had his prostate removed and is experiencing frequent urination. They recommend using patches like Carnosine, Glutathione, and X39/X49 to help with supporting the body to address scar tissue and improving circulation
Supporting substance addiction @ 1:02:29
The group addresses the case of a 30-year-old female with substance addiction, skin picking, and apathy. They provide suggestions for the mother, Sandy, including using the Clearing and Protection Spray and using intention and energy work to support her.
Recap and closing @ 1:19:41
The doctors summarize some general recommendations for supporting wellness, such as using the Aeon patch for stress and brain balancing strategy, and provide information about additional resources available through the LifeWave community. They end the session with some inspirational words from Dr. Dennis.
Q & A Callers
Kadri
Q: What is a patching protocol for swelling calves that worsens in the summer months?
A: Dr. Dennis: Elevating the legs when sitting is good practice. By activating Kidney 1 on the bottom of the feet via slapping the point or patching the point, you increase energy flow. X39 on the left and X49 on the right are examples of a yin/yang patch pairing.
Sweep 3-30x by holding the patch in the hand. Moving from the sides and bottom of the feet upwards to the groin area. Best to use both the Tan/yin patch and the White/yang patch on the insides/outsides of the leg.
Spleen 6 is the crossing point of liver, kidney, and spleen energy, so it’s a great place to sweep around while you make your way up the leg. You can also tap the point to stimulate the Qi in the blood and along those yin channels
Note: A 65-year-old man uses support stockings and experiences increased swelling in the summer months.

Q: What is a patching protocol for symptoms related to swelling and extreme pain from a spider bite on the buttocks?
A: Dr. Dennis: Spit neutralizes the acid in the spider poison. Patches help biocoherence and can support alkalinity, which is healthier for the body.
Dr. Karen: movement is key as per Dr. Dennis. Sweeping helps to move the lymph. Kidney 27 area helps support lymph ports stay open. You need to get the lymph moving to get the toxins out of there faster. Active movement is helpful. Especially in water.
The triangle strategy would help—a.k.a. Support Mountain Triangle—Icewave on Bladder 57 back of the calves and then the top of the triangle back of the head/neck like Governing Vessel 20 or GV14. See https://patchtrainingteam.com/advanced-protocol-for-back-pain/ for an image.
Note: An adult male with swelling in both legs and ankles will require surgery.

Q: What is a patching protocol for an adult female injured while using a leg press? Also, looking to strengthen the injured knee.
A: Dr. Karen: shared how to perform a leg press properly. Press through the heels, and don’t allow the knees to bend past 90 degrees. The power comes from the core, not the knees.
Dr. Dennis isn’t sure where the knee is messed up, so this advice is general. Many muscles are anchored around the knee. The tendons of the quadriceps attach to the anterior knee cap border. The HeDing Point above the knee with X39 or Aeon may help.
For example, we can have Aeon on HeDing, then X39 inside and X49 outside “eyes of the knee” Xiyan.
Add in a “big” triangle with IceWave on Bladder 57 and then a Carnosine or Glutathione on Governing Vessel 2 on the sacrum.

Q: 71-year-old man with prostate removal 2 years ago with frequent urination. Currently, using the Five Elements Protocol with Energy Enhancer, X39/49 on brochure points, Glutathione, and Aeon. Improvements have been intermittent. Stress makes urination increase. The more physical movement, the more he urinates, but he sleeps through the night.
A: Dr. Dennis said there is scar tissue post-surgery. Carnosine and Glutathione patches have historically helped people with scar tissue.
5 Element Rotation: Use Water Meridian points (Kidney 3 /Bladder 60) every other day while rotating through the elements. In addition, you can use X39 (left) / X49 (right) and put them on Spleen 4 (for the Earth element rotation or at night), the Master Point for Chong Mai (prostate area).
Add Carnosine on Conception Vessel 2 above the pubic bone during daytime or nighttime.
Aeon is on the back of the neck or behind the right ear for stress symptoms.
Conception Vessel 1 stimulation (perineum) can also be supportive. It unblocks the prostate area. Putting a patch in the underwear around that point can be helpful. Options include X39, Aeon, or another single patch you’re not already using during the day.

Q: What is a patching protocol to support substance abuse addiction, sores from picking the skin, and apathy?
A: Dr. Dennis shared that using Kidney 1 (low mood, loss of interest, etc) can be helpful to arouse lighter energies. The “3 Sisters” on the forehead midline can be helpful.
½ cun behind natural hairline: on the center: For example, Aeon or Alavida on the middle, Glutathione on the right, and Carnosine (repair tissue) or SP6C on the left (for hormones). Perhaps putting patches on the outside or inside of the baseball cap for 10 minutes daily.
For the addiction part, Tian Wei on the wrist is helpful. SP6C on the left and Aeon on the right.
Dr. Karen said a second Aeon behind the right ear may be helpful.
Another strategy is using the Tesla Antenna: Take two patches of the same type. One is placed over the heart or heart point, and the other over the area of concern. In this case, the patch would be placed over Conception Vessel 15 or 17 and the other on the forehead or top of the head. One must make the intention or desire to heal through the heart.
Note: At the moment, Sandy doesn’t have permission to put patches on her. But perhaps in a sober moment, Sandy would like advice on what points and phototherapy might be helpful. Dr. Karen asked Sandy to email Leslie so that she could lend additional spiritual support.
