Yin/Yang Patch Pair
Please note that when we mention the Yin/Yang patch pair, we mean a pairing of two patches, whereby the one on the left is relatively yin compared to the patch on the right.
Examples of Yin/Yang phototherapy patching pairs are:
- Energy Enhancer: The Tan patch is yin, the White patch is yang
- IceWave: The Tan patch is yin, the White patch is yang
- SP6C + Aeon: SP6C on the left (yin), Aeon on the right (yang)
- Carnosine + Glutathione: Carnosine on the left (relatively yin), and Glutathione (yang) on the right
- X39 + X49: X39 on the left (yin), X49 on the right (yang)
Yin/Yang meridians pair also refers to patching a Yin acupuncture point on the left side of the body and a Yang acupuncture point on the right side belonging to the same element.
Examples of Yin/Yang element pairings:
- Earth: Spleen/Stomach
- Metal: Lung/Large Intestine
- Water: Kidney/Bladder
- Wood: Liver/Gallbladder
- Fire: Pericardium/Triple Burner (more emotional) or Heart/Small Intestine (more physical)

Patch Activation and Compatibility with Other Frequencies
Dr. Karen, Dr. Dennis, and Christine discuss how the patches interact with other frequency devices, such as PEMF or Rife machines. They explain that the patches are generally compatible with beneficial frequencies, as they are designed to reflect the body’s own frequencies rather than introducing foreign ones. However, they caution that extremely powerful medical devices could potentially interfere with the patch’s function.

- Dr. Karen: Alavida on the third eye or behind the right ear on Triple Burner 17 at night can be added to support the pineal/hormone gland.
- Dr. Dennis: The Chong Mai channel begins at Spleen 4 and goes into the womb in women and the prostate in men. Spleen 4 works synergistically with Pericardium 6. These combination points can help with the energy of the womb. For example, use a relatively negatively charged patch on the left SP6 and a positively charged patch on the right PC6 (see patching combos above).
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Liver channel regulates blood flow, especially in the genital area. By dispersing stagnation via Liver 3, you can improve blood flow in the womb. For example, we can use Liver 3 on the left and Large Intestine 4 (part of the Four Gates paradigm) to ground the Qi into the Earth while dispersing stagnant Liver Qi. The master point for the Belt Channel, which is Gallbladder 41, can also be stimulated.
Example: Positive patch on right LI4, negative patch on left LV3, and Glutathione or X39 on right GB41.
A special point called Zigong (extra points) is located over the ovaries. It is 3 cun (3 finger-widths) on either side of the Conception Vessel 3 (CV3) on the lower belly area. You can use any yin/yang patch pairing (that you haven’t already used above if you’re using this simultaneously, as it is more local).

10-year-old child experiencing reduced eating, mobility, and talking. Reduced brain activity. What can support this child?
- Dr. Dennis: Use the Aeon Brain Balancing Strategy and Heart 5. The tongue is the window to the Heart, and that acupoint can help with Heart energy not expressing fully, according to Asian medical physiology. You can place X39 on the right Heart 5 (you can also patch both Heart 5 points on the arms).
- X49 is specific for brain support. You can use it on the right Heart 5 if you like, with X39 on the left.
- Alternatively:
- Place X49 on Kidney 9, which resets yin and affects the “marrow” (including the brain in Chinese Medicine). If using it by itself, place it on the right.
You can also place X39 on the left if you’re not already using it as part of the above combinations.

For post-menopausal women, can the SP6 patch reactivate the menstrual cycle?
- Dr. Dennis: Used with the Alavida patch and other phototherapy that may support the hormonal system, there is a chance that this could happen.
- Dr. Karen: X39 is more likely to cause this symptom temporarily.
- A gynaecologist may wish to take an ultrasound of the uterine lining to ensure it hasn’t overgrown.
Will the patches be “voided” if I use another frequency device (if it isn’t infrared-based)? Are they affected by them?
- Dr. Dennis: If the frequency from the device is directly opposite to the positive frequencies of the patches, then perhaps they could be negatively neutralized. We don’t know for sure, but an MRI or CT scan may interfere with the efficacy of the patches while the device is in use.
- If using a “natural” energy healing machine, as long as the energy is compatible with the body’s natural frequencies, the patches should not be affected.
