I am a Physical Therapist and Certified Dry Needling Practitioner, in practice for over 24 years. I have a passion for helping the person who has multiple, complex musculoskeletal misalignments resulting in pain and dysfunction that most practitioners fail at treating.
At the age of 41, I suddenly developed an autoimmune skin condition called Neutrophilic Dermatosis, along with it came severe anxiety and panic attacks. I have always had high standards and expectations for myself and was always the one voted into leadership positions by my peers. I neglected my health as I worked hard for success but could always handle any life-stressor that came my way. That is, until a light switch in my body shut off one day at 4 a.m. The switch that used to turn on to help me live a joyful, passionate, and successful life for the past 40 years despite the stress all around me.
Nine years ago, as a full-time PT, wife, and mom of 12 y/o twin girls and a 6 y/o son, I was desperate for that switch to turn back on and give me my normal life back! This led me to my current medical team; consisting of rheumatology, naturopathic medicine, integrative and functional medicine. In addition, I have consumed as many functional medicine books and virtual trainings and essential oil books as possible to do my part in promoting wellness in my body. I became a consultant in a global health and wellness business when I found the beauty, nutrition, spa, skincare, sports nutrition, and personal care products that matched my functional medical doctor’s recommendations. I did this because it made my new lifestyle easier and more fun and allowed me to share how easy and fun this healthier lifestyle can be with people seeking answers and help for their own health struggles. My passion became empowering others to radically change their lives with the right tools for success. And then I found LifeWave when I was no longer seeking answers to my health problems.
