Tonight’s team training was full of technical glitches…which was perfect for our topic. Since I’m still trying to figure out how to translate the voice recording I did on my cell phone (you should have seen me holding up the phone to the microphone of my computer headset as we were all on Skype after multiple attempts to connect on the conference call line – it was hilarious) – I’m going to “blog” this instead.
Why is it perfect that we had technical glitches? Because it illustrated an important point:
Those that succeed in network marketing are those individuals who set their sights on a goal, and work their way to that goal despite the obstacles that invariably will appear. And believe me, those obstacles appear! The bigger the goal, the larger the vibration it carries. In order to attain something you have never attained before, you have to be able to elevate your vibration higher than where it is right now. When you begin your trek “upwards”, The Universe will create tension in the form of obstacles. In order to vibrate at a higher level of consciousness (that’s how you reach your goals), you will have to GROW yourself BIGGER than your obstacles (famous T. Harv Eker quote).
“Over, under, around or through – whatever it takes I’ll do” is the Enlightened Warrior motto.
People who do NOT succeed in network marketing are those with smaller comfort zones than those who do. You actually have to grow your comfort zone bigger in order to become successful! People too scared to go much beyond their comfort zones rarely do much with their lives, let alone achieve success in network marketing. Leaders are constantly growing themselves. They get used to being uncomfortable. They get used to making mistakes, picking themselves up, and starting again. According to bestselling author and fan of network marketing, Robert Kiyosaki, the only people who truly fail are people who give up.
Some of the most famous, wealthy and wise people we all admire have been bankrupt before! I don’t know too many “un-wealthy” people who have been bankrupt, do you? They wouldn’t take those kind of risks!
So what else does it take to be successful in your LifeWave business?
- Persistence – you keep going until you get it right
- Consistency – doing the RIGHT things consistently, daily if possible, over and over and over again
- The right training – so you know what NOT to do and what actions give you the most bang for your buck (in other words, stop hassling Aunt Winnie to join your team and find new prospects who are already business people)
- Setting Realistic Attainable Goals – you can’t be successful if you don’t know where you’re going.
- Reviewing your goals regularly – every 30-90 days ideally. Make adjustments based on your RESULTS. (Check out my free MLM Success Tracker to help you at www.MLMBusinessleaders.com
If you want to earn $400 a month, that’s 10 consistent LifeWave customers per month or four new business builders at the Gold level per month. Those are big numbers in network marketing. For most newbies to network marketing, it takes them 12 to 18 months of developing their business before they are bringing in consistent income. Why? Because they have to learn the ropes and they have to overcome their own fear and excuses to do it. Famous MLM trainer and entrepreneur, Randy Gage, doesn’t even allow people to join his team if they aren’t willing to sign a contract that they will still be on the team by the end of one year. Those that stay are those who have demonstrated that they really are serious.
So what is success? Well, for most people, earning $25,000 a year is considered success in network marketing. There are heck of a lot more people earning that than there are those earning 1 million a year. Of course, there ARE people in LifeWave earning a million or more per year..and guess what? They are seasoned business people who are doing the business full-time.
MLM SUCCESS BOTTOM LINE: So it is less to do with the company and the products than it does have to do with YOU. The person you are.
I’ve been part of several MLM’s (not doing the business but getting products at wholesale) since joining LifeWave, and every single single upline sponsor I’ve had in all these organizations either quit within a year or were fired (only one thankfully!). Where did that leave me? Without support! Not a very nice thing to do, especially without warning…Here’s the kicker though: many of these folks, after they’ve joined a new company, turn around and try to sell me on their NEW company/products.
Ahem, you abandoned me at the LAST company you were with. Why should I follow you and leave LifeWave? I love LifeWave. I have never experienced any product or company like this before. The people are great. The leadership have heart. The research is PHENOMENAL and unsurpassed…and we’re the only company with a product that is approved in Europe as a medical device (remember, I’m a doctor that knows other doctors, so that’s REALLY important!).
Let’s just say that if I never need a new company (and I’m not planning on needing one!), I’m NOT going to be sponsored by someone who has not shown persistence, courage, consistency and success in their LAST company. Capiche?
OK, I’m done teaching and ranting for now (LOL!)…
To all our Patch Training Team Access Members, I apologize that the recording didn’t work out…yet, but for everyone else, this post is a “freebie” training post normally accessible only by paid membership.
Happy Networking!
