In tonight’s team training, I discuss the difference between acute and chronic stress and why the latter is so dangerous to our health. We review the symptoms of chronic stress, what our stress glands’ role is in managing our stress and how burnout manifests. I briefly review the lab data one might see with the three different stages of the stress as well as the specific acupuncture points acupuncturists use to restore energy into the stress glands.
