Real Reasons For Concern Over Cell Phone Radiation To Adults And Kids

Cell Phone Radiation and Children – Reason for Concern?

Laboratory studies have indicated consistently that “children’s heads absorb up to double the energy that a large adult does when making a mobile phone call and that the energy can be concentrated in certain areas of the child’s brain, resulting in up to three times the absorption in these areas.”

There has been an increasing concern for children’s exposure to electromagnetic radiation, emitted from cell phones, and a growing fear that potential health risks may be seriously underestimated.

Existing standards and processes regarding specific absorption rates (SAR) for cells phones are currently based on a plastic model of brain tissue, called the Specific Anthropomorphic Mannequin (SAM). This model is anatomically based on the top United States military recruits and assumes that all brain tissues are identical, which they are not. Additionally, it does not take into account children, teenagers or women. According to a report posted on www.mercola.com, the SAR for a 10-year-old is up to 153% higher than the SAR for the SAM model.

Scientists say that “the SAM-based cell phone certification process substantially under-estimates the SAR for 97% of the population.”

With so much still unknown about the long term effects of cell phone radiation, especially involving children, protection and prevention is important. LifeWave has taken a proactive approach to this growing concern, developing a product that is effective at dramatically reducing the amount of electromagnetic radiation that reaches the human body from cell phones. This product, LifeWave Matrix, available this April, provides peace of mind to you, your children, loved ones and friends from the potential dangers of cell phone radiation.
